[ INTERVIEW ] Jordan Knight: NKOTB Singer Leaves Solo Career Unfinished
Last summer, the Houston Press reported (with embarrassing yet unapologetic enthusiasm) on ’80s pop sensations the New Kids on the Block. The ’80s boy-band was co-headlining an arena tour with their ’90s incarnates, the Backstreet Boys.
This year, however, brings less boy-band baggage — no New Kids, no Backstreet Boys (phew); just NKOTB heartthrob Jordan Knight. The group’s former lead singer is currently embarked on a national tour in support of his sophomore solo album, Unfinished.
Rocks Off chatted with Knight about Unfinished, its recording and the tourduring some downtime.

Ce soir, jeudi 23 février, M6 diffusera de nouveaux épisodes de la saison 1 de la très bonne série Blue Bloods. Aux commandes de cette fiction policière, on retrouve le moustachu Tom Selleck, qui joue le patriarche de la famille Reagan dans laquelle les hommes font régner la loi de père en fils.
Au côté du grand Tom Selleck, les téléspectateurs peuvent aussi découvrir Donnie Wahlberg, le grand frère de Mark Wahlberg, un homme aux deux visages, dont le Parisien fait aujourd’hui un portrait.
D’un côté, il y a Donnie Wahlberg l’acteur, qui incarne dans la série un inspecteur de police aux méthodes peu orthodoxes. Charismatique et sans limite, il fait tout pour défendre les New-Yorkais. De l’autre, il y a le chanteur, membre du groupe mythique des New Kids on the Block.

Jordan Knight, one of the five members of NKOTB (that’s New Kids on the Block for you old-schoolers), visited KENS 5’s Great Day SA morning show on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012.
