‘Blue Bloods’ opens third season with domestic abuse case

“Blue Bloods,” the series about a family of crime fighters starring Tom Selleck, returns for its third season on September 28, 2012, at 10 p.m. ET. Richard Bergi (“Desperate Housewives”) guest stars as Councilman Mancini, a friend of Frank Reagan’s (Tom Selleck), according to an August 17, 2012, press release from CBS Television Network.

“Domestic Disturbance” is the title of the season three premiere of “Blue Bloods. When an injured woman recants her claim of domestic violence, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Jackie (Jennifer Esposito) look into it further only to find that the woman is involved in a secret relationship with a high-powered councilman who is also a friend of Frank’s.

Meanwhile, Linda (Amy Carlson) goes back to work, which causes upheaval for Danny at home.

The cast of “Blue Bloods” includes: Tom Selleck (Police Commissioner Frank Reagan), Donnie Wahlberg (Danny Reagan), Bridget Moynahan (Erin Reagan-Boyle), Will Estes (Jamie Reagan), Len Cariou (Henry Reagan), Jennifer Esposito (Jackie Curatola), Amy Carlson (Linda Reagan) and Sami Gayle (Nicky Reagan-Boyle).

“Blue Bloods: Domestic Disturbance” was written by Ian Biederman and directed by Michael Pressman.
